This is the December 2005 issue (#20) of our Free monthly Newsletter for EducationOnlineForComputers.com, giving you the most current Free online Microsoft Office and Web Development Software Training and Tutorial Resources that we have recently discovered and researched. This newsletter is free to anyone subscribing (instructions at bottom, no username/password is needed). Answer:As of December 5, 2005, Adobe has completed its acquisition of Macromedia. Information about the acquisition is available here.
Due to the acquisition, Adobe has announced 3 new product bundles, whose details are as follows:
1) The Adobe Design Bundle - combines Adobe Creative Suite 2 Premium
with Flash Professional 8 software.
2) The Adobe Web Bundle - brings together Adobe Creative Suite 2 Premium
and Studio 8.
3) The Adobe Video Bundle - delivers Adobe video solutions coupled with
Flash Professional 8.

Their plans for the future of their software applications are not specific at this time. Here is an excerpt form the FAQ:
Q: How will the product portfolios be integrated over time?
A: Initially, Adobe will offer combinations of products that provide specific solutions, such as the product bundles announced at the time of the acquisition close. After that, product integration requiring engineering enhancements will come in the first 12 to 18 months as part of regularly scheduled product upgrade cycles.
