Adobe ImageReady is a bitmap graphics editor shipped with Adobe Photoshop by Adobe Systems. It is a software application designed mainly for manipulation of digital photos and graphics for the world wide web. Simply called "ImageReady," it is available on both Windows and Mac OS platforms.
Adobe ImageReady 1.0 was released as a stand alone application. ImageReady has been packaged side-by-side with Adobe Photoshop since version 2.0; thus, the version numbers are listed with the version of Photoshop that it is packaged with. Adobe synced up the version numbers of ImagReady and Adobe Photoshop with version 7.0
