Microsoft Publisher is a very effective desktop publishing program that helps you design and develop professional quality documents, including creating newsletters, flyers, logos, signs, forms and much more. With Publisher’s features, you can also combine text, graphics, illustrations, and photographs. Publisher also uses additional tools over and above those usually found in word processing packages. The application also includes design templates, graphic manipulation tools, color schemes, and multiple page wizards and templates.
Anderson School District in Pendleton, SC, has provided the following Publisher Tutorial. It teaches you how to use many features of Publisher, such as creating an advertising flyer, adding color and border to a text frame and editing graphics. All of the features demonstrated here are also available in Publisher 2003.
